We have all been there, we know what it’s like to feel love, have a warm meal, be cared for and have a roof over our heads. But it’s also funny because we also know what it was like to not get what we wanted or needed, and what hunger feels like. At one moment of another in our childhoods and even now as adults not getting what you need hurts. We’ve all been through childhood, those were some of the best years of our lives, and none of that would have been possible if it weren’t for the community surrounding us, making sure we stayed healthy and ensured we’d thrive with education and other opportunities for growth.
This is why through our Kickstarter campaign we are donating and giving back through UNICEF. We’ve all been children, and can only imagine what the struggle is like for a child in desperate need. UNICEF puts in that work, to make sure that their mission of all children have a right to survive, thrive and fulfill their potential.
With 70 years of experience and services that expand to 190 countries and territories, UNICEF has the experience, reach and infrastructure we believe can do the most good with the resources they are provided.
“The world has made tremendous progress in reducing child mortality. But unless we change course, by 2030, 69 million children will die before reaching their fifth birthdays – most of them from poor countries.”)
Let’s keep working towards the common good and making our community a better place.
